4-ingredient peach butter made with fresh peaches, lemon, and cinnamon lightly sweetened with a pinch of unrefined coconut sugar. The best summer spread!
Guys, I don’t get to the farmer’s market enough.
On my last visit I shuffled from tent to tent looking for the perfect mother’s day gift to bring to brunch.
Before I found the *perfect* bouquet of wildflowers, though, I had a bunch of peach butter jars in hand.
It was exciting because I’d never seen peach butter with such simple clean ingredients.
I walked up to the closest farmer to purchase my newfound spread only to find that…*gasp*…they didn’t take cards.
Cash only.
I handed them back the peach butter, crestfallen, and walked away determined to make my own peach butter to share.
You don’t have to have any cash to grab the deets here!
This 4-Ingredient Peach Butter is the perfect way to use summer peaches in an easy refined sugar free spread.
Are your eyes bigger than your cart at the supermarket?
I usually have a pretty realistic expectation for my veggie purchases.
When it comes to summer fruit, though it’s all too easy to load up the grocery cart thinking, “I’ll totally eat this”.
Next thing you know it’s the end of the week and you’ve got a dozen ripe peaches on your counter.
If this is you, too, don’t worry.
We’re going to make perfect peach butter in just 30 minutes!
I used fresh peaches as the base to this peach butter, but you can also use frozen peaches here, too.
This might be easier, actually, as they’re already skinned and sliced.
If you do opt to use frozen peaches, be sure to thaw the sliced peaches before starting the recipe so the time on the stovetop remains the same.
The recipe calls for 6 cups, which I found to be roughly six peaches, depending on what size you have.
Then we add in the remaining three ingredients.
Lemon, for a bit of acidic brightness.
Cinnamon, for spice.
Coconut sugar, for a touch of warmer sweetness.
You can sweeten your peach butter to taste using unrefined coconut sugar.
Taste the peach butter once it’s done simmering and adding more sugar in small 1/2 TBSP increments to reach your desired taste.
I like my peach butter on the less sweet side so the stone fruit really shines through!
I served my Peach Butter with Bare Snacks’ new Apple Strawberry Fruit Medley.
As if their product line couldn’t get any cooler, they’re now launching a new line of bare chip medleys with fun fruity pairings!
Like the integrity of this peach butter, this new product has just two ingredients– apples and strawberries.
I love dipping these in peach butter for the best fruit on fruit flavor.
This 4-Ingredient Peach Butter is the tastiest way to use up all of those leftover peaches during the summer season.
This recipe can be canned, if you like, so you can enjoy fresh peach butter all year round!
Grab a bag of Bare Snacks Apple Strawberry Medley and get dipping.
Some other ideas for serving are:
- spread on toast
- swirled in oatmeal
- in yogurt
- on crackers
- in a peanut butter sandwich
- on ice cream
Enjoy!

Print4-Ingredient Peach Butter
- Total Time: 40 mins
- Yield: ~2 cups
- Diet: Vegan
Description
4-ingredient peach butter made with fresh peaches, lemon, and cinnamon lightly sweetened with a pinch of unrefined coconut sugar. The best summer spread!
Ingredients
- 6 cups peaches, fresh or frozen, pitted and skins removed
- 1/2 lemon, squeezed
- 1 TBSP coconut sugar (+ more as desired for sweeter butter)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
For serving
- Bare Snacks Apple Strawberry Fruit Medley
Instructions
- Add the fresh peaches, lemon, coconut sugar, and cinnamon to a high-speed-blender and process until it’s totally smooth.
- Pour the blended peach mixture into a large pan over medium heat. Bring the contents to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat slightly to medium low. You want the mixture to remain bubbling but not boiling. Allow it to simmer like this for ~30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning. The peach butter is done when it’s thick and coats the back of the spoon when stirred.
- Taste the peach butter and add more coconut sugar, if desired, for sweetness.
- Let the peach butter cool to room temperature then transfer it to glass jars and store in the refrigerate. Peach butter keeps for up to 2 weeks.
- Enjoy on all of the things, including Bare Snacks Fruit Medleys!
