Easy 5-Ingredient Chocolate Tarts (No-Bake!) with a date-nut-cacao crust and 2-ingredient chocolate ganache filling. Top with fresh berries!
I’ve basically been hot ALL DAY.
The sweat started rolling in solid core this morning and didn’t stop.
It’s been a hot humid weekend here in Virginia with temps well above 90.
I guess it’s June’s way of saying, “I’m out, it’s JULY. ”
Yesterday I did a poll on Instagram asking everyone how hot it was near them.
It did comforted me a little to see that it’s sweltering where some of you are, too.
If you’re craving something sweet, don’t you DARE turn on the oven.
Make these 5-Ingredient Chocolate Tarts that are no-bake, grain-free, and refined sugar free!
There’s nothing quite like a tart pan to elevate your baking feels.
Or, no-baking, in this case.
I can count the number of times I’ve actually used the pans in question, but each time feels a little fancier than the last.
Recently I dusted them off to make these easy chocolate tarts.
They’ve got a super quick date-nut crust with an even simpler chocolate ganache filling.
Then we top them off with fresh fruit and chocolate chunks for good measure.
If you think heck yes, let’s get started.
For the date-nut crust, you just need a mix of dates and nuts.
I used walnuts in mine, but you could also easily sub almonds, pecans, or even cashews instead.
The chocolate ganache sounds fancy but it’s really just mix of melty Hu Kitchen dark chocolate baking Gems and full-fat coconut milk.
All you do is heat the coconut milk on the stove top, pour over the chocolate chips, and mix until you have a thick pourable chocolate sauce.
The sauce looks super melty at first, but it hardens in the fridge as it sets up, making the tarts easier to serve.
Spoon the mixture into the tart shells and decorate with desired fruit and chocolate chips.
I used blackberries and blueberries for a decidedly moody chocolate tart.
Try out your favorite toppings instead– I think any variation of nuts, seeds, fruit, or granola would be excellent here!
Be sure to store these tarts in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.
Not only are they super tasty slightly chilled, but also they need the cold temps to preserve shape.
The tart crust will soften at room temp, making it fragile and floppy, so be sure to keep them chilled and firm for the best presentation!
These 5-Ingredient Chocolate Tarts (No-Bake!) are perfect for a quick no-bake dessert.
They’d be great for all levels of entertaining because they’re elegant and delicious without being overstated.
You can get as creative as you want with the aesthetic here.
Keep it simple with a handful of fresh fruit and chocolate, or go all out and create your own designs.
