In March of this year I received my last big delivery before quarantine back when COVID was just a hushed whisper on the news.

I’m honestly *so* glad that I received my Natural Wood Bed Frame before we went into full quarantine here in Virginia.

The delivery guys assembled in quickly and easily in less than 10 minutes and left me with a beautiful solid piece of natural wood furniture to rest on.

When it seemed like the whole world was hunkering down, I was able to crawl into bed and sleep on a sturdy sustainable foundation!

So, I shared a bit about my decision to try a natural wood bed frame on Instagram and promised to share my thoughts in a blog post.

My Plant Based Nutrition Certification

My experience with receiving my certification in Plant Based Nutrition via eCornell’s Nutrition Studies Certificate Program.

If you’ve been following along on Instagram you might have seen that I recently became certified in Plant-Based Nutrition!

I started the coursework in the thick of quarantine and finished just as summer kicked off.

If you’ve been around here a while you know I have a *general* idea of what’s good for us.

Mostly, I know what type of foods fuel me and make me feel my best.

Then I like to photograph them and share them with you.

I usually keep my nutrition talk to a minimum because I’m a medical professional or a licensed nutritionist or a licensed anything.

I was so excited to take the Plant Based Nutrition eCornell Certificate Program to ground some of my excitement about a whole foods plant-based diet in science and fact.

The course reinforced a lot of what I already intuitively knew about plants, grounding that knowledge in scientific research.

I’ve provided some information on my experience below outlined in a Q&A fashion for anyone also interested in learning more about the course!

Serious question.

Are you a one store one stop shop kind of a shopper or a multiple stores for all of your favorites kind of a shopper?

For me, I’m definitely the latter.

For example, this past weekend I went to three different grocery stores to stock up on produce, non-perishables, and my favorite bath and body products.

So you bet I’ll be hitting up my local Walmart to stock up on three flavors of Bob’s Red Mill Granola!

You might not have a Whole Foods or a Mom’s Organic Market or a Sprouts (all of the stores you can usually find me loitering on the granola aisle), but I bet you have a Walmart near you.
