Who wants chocolate pudding for breakfast? This easy Chocolate Avocado Galaxy Bowl is packed with plant-based protein and healthy fats.
Friends!
Remember that time I started a Galaxy Bowl series on the blog?
Well, I’m not finished yet.
I’m not sure what flavors you dream of for your galactic grub, but I like mine to come in chocolate.
And avocado.
This Chocolate Avocado Galaxy Bowl is thick, creamy, and spoonable, with just the right amount of sweetness.
Basically it’s pseudo chocolate pudding for breakfast that’s packed with protein, healthy fats, and a refreshing serving of veggies.
Beam me up, Scotty.
Have you tried the combination of chocolate and avocado yet?
Yes? No? Maybe so?
Trust me on this, it’s out of this world good.
You might have dabbled in this poetic pairing if you’ve made my Almond Butter Avocado Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Rich and creamy avocado goes adds depth and decadence to semi-sweet dark cacao, making them the perfect partners in crime for dessert, or, in this case, breakfast.
Dessert for breakfast.
Medjool dates replace bananas as a sweetener for this dreamy smoothie bowl.
If you don’t have dates on hand, try using another dried fruit like figs, apricots, or plums.
Steamed and frozen cauliflower adds bulk and substance to tie all of the flavors together.
(Read more about how I make banana-free smoothie bowls here!)
For an alternative to steamed and frozen cauliflower, try adding steamed and frozen zucchini instead.
If you’re craving a little more sweetness, try substituting half of the frozen cauliflower/zucchini for your favorite frozen berries instead.
I like strawberries or blueberries for a berry tasty twist.
For toppings, I went with fresh blueberries, shredded coconut, and a chopped Salty Dark Chocolate Bar from Hu Kitchen.
You’re going to love the intense combo of salty and sweet in this chocolate bar!
Splurge on adding this clean chocolate to your breakfast– it doesn’t have any emulsifiers, gluten, refined sugar, additives, or sugar alcohols!
It’s also organic, fair-trade, paleo, and vegan, if you need more reasons to love it in and out of this bowl!
I like to chop it up (almost shaved) so I get a bit of salty sweetness with each spoonful.
Enjoy this Chocolate Avocado Galaxy Bowl as a delicious breakfast, snack, or meal replacement.
I love to devour mine after my morning workout.
Today I sat down to a bowl after a gorgeous Sunday run, not even bothering to shower before diving in spoon first.
Added avocado makes these bowls super satiating and filling while still being light and nutritious.
For heartier bowls, try adding on extra toppings for more protein and texture!
