Description
Chocolate tahini banana pops are the vegan treat you need this summer! Frozen bananas drizzled in tahini and chocolate and rolled in nuts.
Ingredients
- 3 bananas, peeled and halved
- ¼ cup Soom Foods Tahini
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped nuts (I like walnuts or pecans)
Instructions
- Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Insert a popsicle stick into each halved banana and place them on the parchment lined baking sheet.
- Drizzle tahini over ¾ the banana, working towards the popsicle base. Roll the banana to spread the tahini evenly so the banana is well-coated.
- Transfer the sheet pan meal to the freezer while you prepare the melted chocolate.
- Add the dark chocolate chips to a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Heat the chocolate chips until they’re completely melted, stirring frequently to prevent them from burning.
- Remove the sheet pan from the freezer and drizzle the melted chocolate over ¾ the banana. Roll the banana slightly to completely coat the banana in chocolate.
- Immediately roll the chocolate covered banana in crushed nuts. Transfer the sheet pan meal back to the freezer for 1-2 hours to allow the bananas to freeze and completely set.
- When the bananas are frozen and the chocolate is set, transfer the banana pops to an airtight freezer-safe container and store in the freezer for up to one month.
