Do you ever feel like the universe is sending you the same message over and over and over again? 

A few weeks back I was almost certain that I broke my second toe. 

It was just after M’s brother left, and I was trying to do too many things in my haste to make the house *ours* again. 

I managed to half slid/half fell down the stairs in my new super soft Bombas socks.

When I heard a definite “POP” and felt my toe get pressed at an angle toes shouldn’t go, I saw the half marathon I just signed up for flash before my eyes.  

My second toe turned all kinds of purples and blues and greens but the X-ray results came back as not broken! 

It’s probably bad sprain; I’ve had to cut out running, climbing, and anything high impact or super balance-y to baby it along. 

If I listen closely, I’m pretty sure the universe is screaming…”SLOW DOWN.”

A message that I am unwilling (and unable?) to receive. 

So, I make Grain-Free Chocolate Cherry Bliss Balls instead.

They’re this insane combination of decadent and nutritious, half brownie and half energy ball. 

They’re made with just 5 ingredients and naturally sweetened with tart cherries and dates. 

They’re summery and sweet while being packed with healthy fats and protein. 

I can’t wait to meal prep them again for the week!

What You Need to Make Grain-Free Chocolate Cherry Bliss Balls

Here’s what you need:

  • Fruit Bliss Organic Dried Tart Cherries
  • Medjool dates
  • raw cashews
  • raw almonds
  • raw cacao powder

That’s it!

How to Make Grain-Free Chocolate Cherry Bliss Balls

This recipe is really easy to mix up with a high-speed blender or food processor.

Add the Organic Dried Tart Cherries, dates, cashews, almonds, and raw cacao powder to the blender bucket and pulse everything until it’s well-combined, scraping down the sides as needed to recombine.

The mixture is done when you have a thick sticky paste.

Fruit Bliss Organic Dried Tart Cherries

These bliss balls get their cherry flavor from Fruit Bliss Organic Dried Tart Cherries!

I love these Organic Dried Tart Cherries that are non-GMO, USDA organic, gluten-free, and vegan. 

That’s a whole lot of amazing right there!

These cherries are different because they’re sun-dried and naturally sweet without any added sugars or preservatives. 

And they’re *super* moist thanks to their rehydration process. 

Fruit Bliss fruit is steamed and then infused with water to make them juicy and delicious!

The cherries are the perfect mixture of sweet and tart for these bliss balls!

Notes on Meal Prep

Once everything is well-combined, scoop the mixture out with a cookie scoop and roll it into small 1” balls. 

You can enjoy the balls immediately!

Store the leftover balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.

I like to eat them directly from the refrigerator, but you can also leave them at room temperature for several days if you want to.

How to Serve Grain-Free Chocolate Cherry Bliss Balls

Make these Grain-Free Chocolate Cherry Bliss Balls for an easy energizing snack. 

They’re chewy and perfectly sweet, with just the right about of texture and chocolate flavor. 

They’re fun to prepare in advance for meal prep so you can enjoy bliss balls all week long. 

They’re compact and portable, making them the perfect to stash in a hiking bag, purse, or suitcase. 

I think they’d be great to take hiking or camping this summer. 

If you’re not into balls, try rolling this dough out in bars instead!

Grain-Free Chocolate Cherry Bliss Balls with 5 ingredients and naturally sweetened with Fruit Bliss Organic Dried Tart Cherries and dates.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup Fruit Bliss Organic Dried Tart Cherries
  • 10 Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder

Instructions

  1. Add the Fruit Bliss Organic Dried Tart Cherries, dates, cashews, almonds, and raw cacao powder to a high-speed blender and pulse everything until it’s well-combined, scraping down the sides as needed to recombine. The mixture is done when you have a thick sticky paste.

This Thai Carrot Sweet Potato Soup is made on the stovetop with root vegetables and yellow curry paste blended with a spoonful of nut butter. I used a standing blender but you can also use an immersion blender to achieve the creamiest consistency.
