Vegan Hilary’s Eat Well veggie burgers topped with avocado, BBQ sauce, and grilled pineapple. Serve on gluten-free buns or on leafy greens!

Hawaiian Hilary's Burgers by Flora & Vino

It was sticky sweaty hot this week, broken only by a series of thunderstorms and lots of rain.

There was one particular crack of lighting with a thunderous echo that I swear hit right outside my window.

My sister can vouch for this too, because we were chatting when the clap made both me and her scream simultaneously.

But then once the skies calmed down I fell asleep listening to the pitter patter of rain sidling down the siding of my townhouse; a rare perfect moment amidst the chaos of current events.

With everything going on in the world right now, it’s a little hard to believe that it’s the summer season.

There’s a weird juxtaposition between the welcoming warmth outdoors and the cold concern on the news.

For the first summer, perhaps ever, I don’t have any summer plans!

More than ever, right now, I’m grateful for the simple things, like mixing and matching my favorite nourishing foods.

Like these Hawaiian Hilary’s Burgers made with my favorite vegan veggie burger, grilled pineapple, and BBQ sauce!

If you’re still quarantining, let your taste buds take the Hawaiian vacation for you!

Hawaiian Hilary's Burgers Ingredients

Are you a warm pineapple person?

I am.

In high school my friends and I met for movie nights after splitting a Hawaiian pizza from the pizza kitchen next to the theater.

It was a great pizza, loaded with juicy chunks of cooked pineapple.

So, have you ever thought about translating those flavors to your burger?

In this recipe we add grilled pineapple rings and barbecue sauce for a unique burger flavoring that will take your burger from best to bangin’.

Hawaiian Hilary's Burgers Ingredients

Here’s what you need to make Hawaiian Hilary’s Burgers:

  • avocado oil
  • Hilary’s Eat Well World’s Best Veggie Burger
  • gluten-free buns
  • pineapple rings
  • sliced avocado
  • refined sugar-free BBQ sauce
  • red onion, sliced
  • leaf lettuce, torn

That’s it!

This burger is so easy to ensemble with my favorite Hilary’s Eat Well World’s Best Veggie Burger.

If you’ve been around here a while you know that this is my absolute *favorite* of Hilary’s Eat Well products!

One of my favorite hobbies is getting people hooked on Hilary’s.

During quarantine, I got one of my friends hooked on this particular flavor and I’m pretty sure she’s never going back.

We connect on a regular basis to discuss how many Hilary’s we were able to stash in our fridge for later.

Which makes sense because this certified organic veggie burger is the original, and best-selling Hilary’s burger.

Ir’s packed with whole grain millet, sweet potato, and leafy greens that make a nutritious patty that’s vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-friendly.

Anddd it’s perfect with pineapple and BBQ sauce to create a new flavor profile!

Hawaiian Hilary's Burgers by Flora & Vino

These Hawaiian Hilary’s Burgers are perfect for an easy plant-based burger idea!

Make this combination in 10 minutes when you need a creative summer plant-based main.

I like to layer the BBQ sauce on the bottom bun then top with a cooked Hilary’s to keep things less messy.

Next, layer on creamy avocado, grilled pineapple rings, sliced red onion, and leaf lettuce.

Feel free to squeeze on any other toppings here that sound good to you.

I think cilantro or fresh herbs would be a nice addition here, as well.

Add on the top bun and smush down a little to make sure the burger stays combined.

Enjoy immediately!

Can we make Soba Saturday a thing? 🥰 🍜🍳Th Can we make Soba Saturday a thing? 🥰 🍜🍳This CASHEW BUTTER SOBA NOODLE STIR FRY is new on the blog today. This simple stir-fry is made with buckwheat soba noodles and tender-crisp vegetables in a creamy cashew butter sauce. It’s perfect for a quick and cozy plant-based dinner! 👏
-
This recipe’s foundation is made with @edenfoods Buckwheat Soba Noodles. //#sponsored If you’re gluten-free like me, you might have mistakenly avoided buckwheat believing that it is a type of wheat. However, despite the name, buckwheat isn’t a wheat at all, and is actually naturally gluten-free! 😱
Buckwheat protein is awesome because it has all essential amino acids. @edenfoods Buckwheat Soba Noodles are made from only two ingredients: 100% whole grain organic buckwheat and purified water! They’re fantastic paired with tender-crisp veggies and a dreamy cashew butter sauce. 🥰
