Description
Extra creamy overnight oats with a spoonful of tahini lightly sweetened with maple syrup. Prep several jars in advance for easy weekday breakfast on the go!
Ingredients
- ½ cup gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 TBSP runny tahini
- 1 – 2 tsp maple syrup (I like to start with 1 tsp and add more in the morning if I feel like it)
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1 TBSP vanilla OR chocolate protein powder (optional)
For serving
- fresh sliced figs
- 1 TBSP your favorite granola– I like this kind!
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a mason jar and stir everything gently to combine.
- Cover the mason jar and transfer to the refrigerator overnight.
- In the morning, add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency. Taste the oats and add a little more maple syrup if needed.
- Serve the overnight oats immediately with fresh sliced figs and your favorite granola. Overnight oats will keep in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
