4-ingredient raw energy balls with peanut butter, oats, dates, and fresh basil! Perfect to make ahead for snacking on the go when basil is in season!
Move over jelly, PB has a new lover.
Friends, I’m here to introduce you to my latest flavor obsession.
Have you tried the combination of peanut butter and basil?
If your face is all contorted in disgust, hear me out.
Because my face looked like that once too.
But now I’m chewing on these Peanut Butter & Basil Bliss Balls in pure peanut butter basil bliss.
I don’t know exactly how to describe to you the way that it works, but it works.
All you need is 4 ingredients, a blender, and an open mind!
Where should I start with these bites?
They’re completely raw and no-bake– ideal for days when you’re too lazy to watch the oven preheat.
Especially if you have an oven like mine that takes a good 20 minutes to get to 400.
When I’m on my way home from the gym craving something baked, I call Dan and ask him to preheat the oven for me, because hanger can’t wait.
This also makes them suitable for spring, and it might as well be spring in Virginia, with all of the 70 degree days we’ve been having in February (what?!).
They’re also oil free, gluten free, and refined sugar free.
What’s left? A satisfying and sweet snack made with only FOUR ingredients.
Healthy fats from peanut butter, hearty gluten free oats, enticing fresh basil, and sweet and juicy Medjool dates.
Yum.
Enjoy these Peanut Butter Basil Bliss Balls for a super easy snack or anytime pick-me-up.
It’s so easy to make a batch of these on Sunday and keep them in the fridge all week for healthy snacking.
They’re portable and are way to easy to pop in your mouth, your friend’s mouth, your purse…you get the picture.
If you want to mix things up, substitute another nut butter in place of peanut butter, or try adding some mix-ins!
If you try these Peanut Butter & Basil Bliss Balls, I want to see!
Be sure to leave me a comment, rating, and review so I can use your feedback to create more yums.

If your dates are dried up and a little on the mature side, pour boiling water over them and let them sit for about 10 minutes, then drain and add to the recipe. Voila, juicy dates!
