SunButter Yogurt Dip made with non-dairy yogurt, Organic SunButter, and a hint of maple and cinnamon. Perfect as a nutritious dip for sliced apples!
This week I take my second course in Lead Climbing at my indoor climbing gym!
Lead climbing is my latest project in my climbing journey.
Instead of having a set anchor point, the climber leads with the rope, clipping the rope into carabiners along the way.
So, basically, the climber sets new anchor points as they climb!
Climbing like this allows for more versatility in the nature of the climbs, and my ultimate goal is to be able to lead outdoors with M.
But first, I’m trying to master all of the new information indoors.
In class, we have to practice catching and taking falls as both belayer and climber.
When my instructor shouted, “Lauren, Fall, Fall, Fall!” I had to just…let go.
It’s a weird thing to intentionally *fall*, and my feet found the wall again before I could really register the falling or the fear.
It also was a very real representation of what I knew to be true: that the worry, anxiety, and dread is often so much worse than the thing itself.
But I do wish that this SunButter Yogurt Dip had caught me for a sweet soft landing.
This light and fluffy dip is made with just 4 ingredients and is the perfect partner to sliced apples for snack time!
This recipe was inspired by social media scrolling.
I kept seeing variation of Peanut Butter Yogurt Dips on social media, and it looked so delicious that I knew I had to recreate it with SunButter!
If you’re like me and live by the apple a day keeps the doctor away mentality, then this fruit dip is for you!
I love mixing up my usual nut butter for this satisfying lightly sweet combination of yogurt and sunflower seed butter that’s perfect for dipping.
What You Need to Make SunButter Yogurt Dip
Here’s what you need to make SunButter Yogurt Dip:
- unsweetened almond milk yogurt
- Organic SunButter
- pure maple syrup (optional)
- ground cinnamon (optional)
That’s it!
How to Make SunButter Yogurt Dip
I love this recipe because you don’t need to dirty up a blender to mix it up.
Add the yogurt and SunButter to a small mixing bowl and stir the two together with a spoon until they’re well-combined and no lumps remain.
I really enjoyed the taste of unsweetened almond milk yogurt with my dip, but any unsweetened plant-based yogurt will work!
The “nutty” flavor of of this salt and sugar-free Organic SunButter is delicious mixed with yogurt!
It’s also packed with plant-based protein and healthy fats for a superior snacking situation.
If you’d like to make this recipe entirely nut-free, try using soy or oat milk based yogurt.
Next, add in the optional maple syrup and cinnamon and stir again to mix well.
I like my SunButter Yogurt Dip with lots of cinnamon and just a hint of maple syrup for sweetness.
You can leave them out and still have a delicious creamy spread for dipping!
How to Serve SunButter Yogurt Dip
The best part is, you can enjoy this SunButter Yogurt Dip immediately!
It should be light and fluffy with a slightly whipped consistency.
I love mine served with fresh apple slices, but you can pair it with any fruit or vegetable.
Store any leftover SunButter Yogurt Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5 days.
Swaps and Substitutions
Enjoy this SunButter Yogurt Dip as a fun and easy dip for snacking.
Make it to mix up your usual nut butter dipping situation with something fresh, fluffy, and fun.
It would be great as a healthy snack for kids’ lunchboxes, too!
I love enjoying the dip throughout the week with apple slices for a mid-morning snack.
And this dip isn’t just for fruit!
To make it more savory, leave out the maple syrup and cinnamon and serve it with vegetables, chips, or crackers.
It’s the perfect spoonable addition to any snack or breakfast.
Enjoy!
