A collection of  fun vegan NYE recipes ideas that are perfect for at-home celebrations, entertaining, and before and after midnight munchies.

This will be my second New Years Eve spent in Germany! 

It’s truly a uniquely special experience to ring in the new year from another place on the globe.

Especially weird when you realize as clock strikes midnight in Germany, for my people in the U.S., it’s not new years yet. 

I love getting to know German NYE traditions, which are a lot like American NYE traditions. 

Good food and drinks with good company, and maybe some fireworks when one year turns into the next. 

Luckily, I can help you with one of those things today. 

Recipes, all the recipes. 

I used to love going out on NYE, but the pandemic really showed me how beautiful the new year can be spent from the comfort of your own home.

These Vegan NYE Recipe Ideas are small bites that would be perfect to make and serve to end the year.

For NYE, there’s usually a lot of continual snacking and finger food as people pace themselves for the marathon of staying up until midnight (or is it just me?). 

With that in mind, I included 10 festive appetizers, snacks, and desserts that would be beautiful and delicious for a NYE gathering.

This Thai Carrot Sweet Potato Soup is made on the stovetop with root vegetables and yellow curry paste blended with a spoonful of nut butter. I used a standing blender but you can also use an immersion blender to achieve the creamiest consistency.

I love topping my soup with cilantro, @edenfoods Tamari Roasted Almonds, and @edenfoods Hot Pepper Sesame Oil.

Whether you love TFK as much as I do, you’re going to be obsessed with my version of this cauliflower! It’s baked and then coated in a tahini sauce and topped with fresh herbs, cranberries, and hazelnuts. Enjoy it as an appetizer or side! Cozy and delicious all year round.
