Description
Protein packed mousse made with black beans, cashews, and cacao powder sweetened with maple syrup. Perfect for a nutritious snack or sensible dessert!
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked Farmer Direct Organic Black Beans
 - 1/2 cup almond milk
 - 3 TBSP raw cashews
 - 2 TBSP coconut butter
 - 3–4 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder
 - 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
 - pinch of Himalayan sea salt
 - dash of cinnamon
 
Instructions
- Cook the black beans according to package instruction. Cover and refrigerate until ready for use.
 - Drain the beans well and measure out 2 cups for this recipe. Reserve the other beans for another use. Add beans to a high speed blender or food processor with the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
 - Spoon into glass jars and serve with fresh fruit of choice.
 - Store leftovers in the fridge for up to one week.
