Description

Orange chocolate pretzel bark with Endangered Species Orange + Dark Chocolate and gluten-free pretzels. The perfect combo of salty and sweet!

Ingredients

  • 4 Endangered Species Orange + Dark Chocolate Bars (~12-oz.)
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free pretzels, crushed
  • ~1 cup gluten-free pretzels, whole (+more as needed, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line a small rectangular dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, heat the chocolate chunks over low heat until they’re fully melted, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  3. Remove the chocolate from the heat and stir in the chopped pretzels.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and spread it into an even layer with the back of a spoon or a spatula.
  5. Top the bark with whole pretzels in a symmetric pattern.
  6. Transfer the pan to the freezer and freeze for one hour, or until the chocolate is completely hardened
  7. Chop the pretzel bark into small pieces using a knife or, alternatively, break it into small chunks with your hands,
  8. Store leftover pretzel bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week and freeze for long term storage.
