Description

Allergy fighting acai bowl with anti-inflammatory acai, pineapple, berries, and bee pollen. Perfect for a warm weather breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/41/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 packets frozen unsweetened acai
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 cup frozen berries (I used blueberry!)
  • 12 scoops vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 2 TBSP Organic SunButter

Instructions

  1. Add the almond milk, frozen acai, frozen pineapple, frozen berries, optional protein powder, and SunButter to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend everything on low, slowly increasing the blender speed, using a toggle to push the fruit down. Continue blending in this fashion, scraping down sides as needed, adding a little extra almond milk as needed to get the blades moving. It will take a few minutes to achieve the thick and creamy smoothie bowl consistency.
  3. Taste and add more pineapple for sweetness or SunButter for creaminess.
  4. Divide the mixture between bowls and enjoy immediately garnished with desired toppings– I used bee pollen, fresh berries, shredded coconut, and more SunButter.
