Description
Allergy fighting acai bowl with anti-inflammatory acai, pineapple, berries, and bee pollen. Perfect for a warm weather breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 packets frozen unsweetened acai
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/4 cup frozen berries (I used blueberry!)
- 1–2 scoops vanilla protein powder (optional)
- 2 TBSP Organic SunButter
Toppings
- sprinkle of bee pollen
- fresh berries
- shredded coconut
- Organic SunButter
Instructions
- Add the almond milk, frozen acai, frozen pineapple, frozen berries, optional protein powder, and SunButter to a high-speed blender.
- Blend everything on low, slowly increasing the blender speed, using a toggle to push the fruit down. Continue blending in this fashion, scraping down sides as needed, adding a little extra almond milk as needed to get the blades moving. It will take a few minutes to achieve the thick and creamy smoothie bowl consistency.
- Taste and add more pineapple for sweetness or SunButter for creaminess.
- Divide the mixture between bowls and enjoy immediately garnished with desired toppings– I used bee pollen, fresh berries, shredded coconut, and more SunButter.
