Description
Apple cherry tahini crumble naturally sweetened with Apple Cherry Butter and topped with a tahini, oat, and almond crumble topping.
Ingredients
Crumble Filling
- 3–4 medium to large apples, cored and chopped (peel if you prefer)
- 2 cups cherries, pitted and sliced
- 1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
- 1 TBSP pure maple syrup
- 1 cup Eden Foods Organic Apple Cherry Butter Spread
Crumble Topping
- 1 cup gluten-free old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup Eden Foods Tahini Organic Roasted Sesame Tahini
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish with coconut oil.
- Combine the sliced apples, cherries, lemon juice, maple syrup, and the apple cherry butter in a large mixing bowl. Toss everything until the fruit is sticky snd well-coated.
- In a separate bowl, add the rolled oats, almond flour, maple syrup, and tahini. Mix everything well with a spoon so the oats and almond flour are well-coated and crumbly.
- Add the fruit to the bottom of the baking dish and top with the crumble in an even layer.
- Transfer the dish to the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the top of the crumble is golden brown.
- Serve the crumble warm. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to one week and reheat before serving.
