Chocolate Cherry Overnight Oats with dark chocolate and fresh or frozen cherries. Perfect for a healthy grab and go breakfast for the week.
Ingredients
Chocolate Cherry Overnight Oats
- 1 cup fresh or frozen dark sweet cherries
- 2 TBSP plant-based chocolate protein powder
- 2 TBSP raw cacao powder
- 2 TBSP pure maple syrup
- 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2/3 cup gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats
- 4 tsp chia seeds
For serving
- sliced cherries
- dark chocolate chips
- Chocolate SunButter
- your favorite granola
Instructions
- Add the fresh or frozen cherries, chocolate protein powder, cacao powder, maple syrup, and unsweetened almond milk to a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until it’s smooth and creamy.
- Divide the blender liquid between two mason jars. Divide the oats and chia seeds between the mason jars and stir to combine.
- Cover the jars and transfer them to the refrigerator overnight or at least 4 hours.
- In the morning, serve the overnight oats with fresh sliced cherries, dark chocolate chips, Chocolate SunButter, and your favorite granola. Store leftover overnight oats in the refrigerator for up to one week.
