Description

Oven-baked mochi dipped in maple syrup and topped with cinnamon and toasted pecans. Bakes in under 10 minutes for a unique sweet snack or dessert!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the Eden Foods Sweet Brown Rice Organic Mochi from their packaging and arrange them on the baking sheet so none of them are touching. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake them for 8-10 minutes, until they’re puffed up in appearance and golden brown.
  3. While the mochi is baking, add the pecans to a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Heat for 5-8 minutes, until the pecans are lightly browned and fragrant. Toss the pecans frequently to ensure all sides get toasted!
  4. Add the maple syrup to a small bowl and set aside. Dip the mochi in the maple syrup bowl and flip to coat all sides. Transfer the mochi to a plate and sprinkle it with cinnamon and add toasted pecans on top. Enjoy warm.
  5. Store any leftover baked mochi in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, though best when fresh.
