Upgrade your avocado toast with sliced strawberries and a sprinkle of hemp hearts. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick snack.
Ingredients
- seeded bread of choice (gluten-free as needed), toasted
- 1 avocado
- fresh squeezed lemon
- Himalayan sea salt
- fresh sliced strawberries
- 1 TBSP hemp hearts
- drizzle of maple syrup or honey
Instructions
- Slice your avocados in half and score the inside with a knife.
- Squeeze a bit of fresh lemon into each avocado halve and sprinkle with a bit of Himalayan sea salt and set aside to marinade.
- Meanwhile, toast your bread and slice your strawberries.
- To assemble the Strawberry Hemp Heart Avocado Toasts, scoop out the lemon sea salt avocado mixture and smash ½ avocado on each toast with a fork.
- Top with sliced strawberries, hemp hearts, and an optional drizzle of maple syrup or honey.
