Description
Refreshing strawberry sangria made on the spot with oranges, strawberries, and a kombucha flair. Perfect for outdoor summer entertaining!
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of affordable dry Spanish Red Wine, chilled
- 1 large orange, sliced, seeds removed and peeling left on
- 1 cup strawberries, diced
- ¾ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup Mad Magic Strawberry Kombucha
- 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup*, to taste
- Ice, for serving
Instructions
- Add the diced strawberries and orange slices to a large pitcher or mixing bowl and muddle with a muddler or wooden spoon for 45 seconds.
- Add in the orange juice and kombucha and muddle again to combine for 30 seconds.
- Add red wine and stir to incorporate, then taste and adjust flavor as needed. Add an additional 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup for sweeter sangria. I found mine didn’t need any!
- Serve in glasses with a few ice cubes and garnish with strawberries.
- Store the leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours, though best when fresh.
