Description

Refreshing strawberry sangria made on the spot with oranges, strawberries, and a kombucha flair. Perfect for outdoor summer entertaining!

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of affordable dry Spanish Red Wine, chilled
  • 1 large orange, sliced, seeds removed and peeling left on
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced
  • ¾ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup Mad Magic Strawberry Kombucha
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup*, to taste
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Add the diced strawberries and orange slices to a large pitcher or mixing bowl and muddle with a muddler or wooden spoon for 45 seconds.
  2. Add in the orange juice and kombucha and muddle again to combine for 30 seconds.
  3. Add red wine and stir to incorporate, then taste and adjust flavor as needed. Add an additional 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup for sweeter sangria. I found mine didn’t need any!
  4. Serve in glasses with a few ice cubes and garnish with strawberries.
  5. Store the leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours, though best when fresh.
