Description
4-ingredient no bake energy balls made with sunflower seed butter and dates! Naturally sweetened and perfect for meal prep snacking!
Ingredients
- 12–15 dates (~1 cup), pitted*
- 3–4 TBSP No Sugar Added SunButter
- 1 TBSP chia seeds
- 2/3 cup gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats
Instructions
- Pulse dates in a high speed blender or food processor until they form a paste like consistency.
- Add oats, chia seeds and sunbutter and pulse until combined. If they aren’t perfectly mixed, that’s OK!
- Scrape dough our of blender and place in a bowl in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to set (optional, but recommended).
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls using your hands.
- Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Freeze for long term storage.
Notes
If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain before adding them to the recipe
