Quick and easy shake with SunButter and plenty of cinnamon. Fruit-free and low-sugar option included. Perfect for a post-workout snack or light breakfast.
What are you watching right now?
I just started watching Bridgerton on Netflix and I’ve got to say; I’m kind of obsessed.
If you haven’t seen it yet, the best description I’ve heard so far is that it’s a mix between Gossip Girl and Jane Austen.
You’re intrigued now, aren’t you?
It takes place during the Regency era in England, where siblings of the powerful Bridgerton family search for love.
And drama ensues, of course.
Check it out!
It’s nice to have a new show to cozy up to at the end of short cold January days.
But during the daylight, let’s stay energized for the next Netflix marathon, OK?
This SunButter Cinnamon Smoothie is perfect to make for a light breakfast or quick snack!
There’s something about January that makes me want to pull out my Vitamix and start blending breakfast.
I just started using protein powder again recently and I’ve been experimenting with new mixtures.
I’m excited to share my current favorite shake with you today!
It’s a non-nonsense shake with minimal ingredients and a mildly sweet cinnamon roll flavor.
It’s light and protein-packed, with smooth and creamy SunButter and plenty of cinnamon.
You’re going to love the way the No-Sugar-Added SunButter adds cream consistency and a hint of sea salt to enhance the flavor!
Here’s what you need:
- No-Sugar-Added SunButter
- unsweetened almond milk
- vanilla protein powder
- frozen banana OR pre-steamed and frozen cauliflower
- No-Sugar-Added SunButter
- ground cinnamon + more for serving
That’s it!
No special instructions are required to make this shake.
Simply combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and process until smooth and creamy.
Choose either banana or pre-steamed and frozen cauliflower depending on how sweet you’d like your shakes.
You can play with the consistency here!
For thicker shakes, add extra frozen banana or cauliflower.
To achieve thinner shakes, add a little more unsweetened almond milk.
Transfer the blender contents to a glass and serve immediately!
Enjoy this SunButter Cinnamon Smoothie as a super easy breakfast or snack.
The recipe is low in sugar so it’s perfect for a quick pick-me-up whenever the mood strikes.
It’s packed with plant-based protein and health fats, making it ideal for post and pre-workout fuel.
For a different flavor profile, try using chocolate protein powder instead of vanilla!
I love mine topped with ground cinnamon and a swirl of SunButter.
Enjoy!
